RG Consultancy are working with a professional services business in Stockport who are recruiting an administrator to work alongside their accounts/payroll department. This is an ideal role for someone with strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a background in general administration or accounts.

The Role
- Preparation of invoices accurately and efficiently
- Handle weekly and monthly timesheet entries for staff and clients
- Perform data entry and update financial records using accounting software and MS Excel
- Liaise with clients and team members regarding billing and payment queries
- Updating, maintaining and onboarding new and existing client information
- Ownership of the accounts spreadsheet
- Answering calls to clients, dealing with queries
- Making appointments and diary management
- Greeting clients and being a first point of contact on site and over the phone
- Order and purchase office supplies when needed
- General administration; managing filing, emails, phone calls and providing general administrative support to the accounts and payroll team
The Person
- Previous experience in a similar admin role (accounts/finance admin support would be an advantage)
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks, Sage) and MS Excel
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Experience within an accountancy practice would be an advantage
