Oaklands Global have been exclusively retained to identify a Cargo Business Development Manager to support the growth of a leading UK air cargo hub. Working closely with department heads, you'll focus on winning new business, growing existing accounts, and strengthening the businesses position in global airfreight markets.

Key Responsibilities

* Drive new business with airlines, brokers, freight forwarders, and shippers

* Grow existing customer relationships and revenue streams

* Develop and deliver sales proposals through to contract completion

* Support both scheduled and ad hoc charter cargo operations

* Represent the business at industry events and international meetings

* Align closely with operations to ensure service delivery supports commercial goals

* Contribute to marketing content, new service development, and long-term strategy

* Produce performance reports and market/competitor analysis

Requirements

* Proven track record in air cargo sales/business development

* Strong industry network and commercial mindset

* Experience across scheduled and charter operations

* Understanding of cargo handling and operational processes

* Proactive, results-driven, and confident communicator
