Veritas Education are recruiting for a Behavioural Support Worker to join a vibrant secondary school in Leeds this September. This role is ideal for someone with experience supporting young people with behavioural or emotional needs and a genuine passion for helping students succeed.

• Support students 1:1 and in small groups to manage behaviour and stay engaged in learning

• Work closely with teaching staff and pastoral teams to implement behaviour strategies

• Help create a calm, inclusive, and supportive school environment

• Promote positive relationships and act as a role model

• Experience working with young people with behavioural challenges (in school or youth/care settings)

• Resilient, calm, and confident in managing behaviour

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• A proactive and compassionate approach

• Team Teach or similar training

• Knowledge of safeguarding and SEND

• Relevant degree or qualifications in education, psychology, or youth work
