Main duties:

* Managing daily purchase orders for raw materials and packaging to meet customer and manufacturing needs with precision and efficiency.

* Analysing and interpreting MRP data to identify changes in demand and respond with agility, ensuring uninterrupted supply chains.

* Providing comprehensive reporting on SKU, stock and spend management to help inform strategic decision-making.

* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of purchasing and supplier information, ensuring that all relevant stakeholders have access to the most current data.

* Monitoring vendor performance closely, including tracking non-conforming deliveries and taking appropriate action to ensure quality supply and avoid supplier dependence.

* Ensuring that price lists are current and accurate, and conducting regular stocktaking exercises to maintain optimal inventory levels, both physically and administratively.

* Keep up to date with despatch duties / stock adjustments from despatch

* Any other admin duties

What we're looking for:

* Previous experience in purchasing or a similar role would be ideal

* Would consider a graduate

* Prior manufacturing experience would be desirable and experience in a similar purchasing position

* Excellent communication skills

* Organised

* Keen to progress and work towards CIPS
