Are you a recent Psychology graduate looking to take your first step into education or a long-term career in child psychology or educational psychology?

Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Blackpool to recruit a Graduate Teaching Assistant to support children across the school with identified Special Educational Needs (SEN). This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for child development and a desire to make a genuine impact in the classroom.

About the Role:

As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

Work 1:1 and in small groups with pupils who have additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties.

Support children's learning and emotional development under the guidance of the SENCO and class teachers.

Help implement personalised learning plans and behaviour strategies.

Develop strong, trusting relationships with pupils, parents, and staff.

What We're Looking For:

A degree in Psychology (or closely related field).

A calm, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting children.

Ideally some experience with children or young people in an educational, care, or voluntary setting.

A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils.
