Our East Midlands SEN team are looking for an Education Recruitment Consultant to join them and help take the branch to new heights this year. Applications will be considered from entry level applicants with no recruitment experience and also experienced recruiters. The role is working with SEN schools and specialist provisions across Nottinghamshire and the surrounding areas. It is one of the busiest branches in the company and has huge potential for further growth with the right addition to the team. The branch is well established and assists clients with long term, permanent, short term and tuition staffing requirements. Due to the specialist nature of the role, experience or knowledge of working in the SEN sector would be advantageous.

The role is full time and permanent and we are looking to hire someone who wants to forge a career in recruitment who will commit for the longer term. Due to current government restrictions, we are working from home full time, however when able we will return to our office based working pattern. This involves 2-3 days office-based working and the rest of the week working at home. Full IT equipment will be provided for effective home working.
This role involves making a high volume of sales and business development calls to schools across your local region; resourcing and recruiting quality teachers and carrying out interviews. Along with having regular face-to-face client visits (via video conferencing due to COVID-19) whilst building relationships with key decision makers in schools. The role also requires excellent communication skills as trainees are also required to write their own adverts to attract candidates and marketing to showcase those candidates and their attributes to schools.

We have many outstanding consultants, Branch Managers and senior leaders that joined Teaching Personnel with no previous experience in recruitment, however, their determination, charisma and desire to do well have meant they have been very successful.
