Mechanical Maintenance Fitter
Location: Enderby/Leicester
Duration: 1 Month rolling Contract
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 4:00pm

Rates:
£30 per hour - Outside IR35
or
£23 per hour PAYE + £2.78 holiday pay

We're recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Fitter to support a busy recycling and processing site in Enderby on a one-month contract. This is a hands-on role combining mechanical maintenance, welding and fitting work in a heavy industrial environment.

The Role

Planned and reactive mechanical maintenance
Welding repairs (MIG) on plant and equipment
Mechanical fitting, including replacing bearings, motors, gearboxes and chains
Working on conveyors, balers, shredders and processing equipment
Supporting breakdown response and minimising downtime
General mechanical repairs across site
What We're Looking For

Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter or Maintenance Engineer
Strong welding capability
Experience working in heavy industrial, manufacturing or recycling environments
Confident stripping and rebuilding mechanical components
Able to work independently and hit the ground running
Immediate start available.
