Senior Buyer - 1 year FTC

About the Role:

Senior Buyer (1 year initial FTC)

* Hybrid working (3 days onsite)

* Manage procurement of raw materials and packaging components for pharmaceutical and supplement manufacturing

* Conduct supplier evaluations and manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, compliance, and cost-effectiveness

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production planning and meet customer requirements

* Monitor and manage budgets, costs, and inventory levels to support operational efficiency

* Support the Head of Procurement in strategic sourcing initiatives and continuous improvement projects

* Contribute to the onboarding and coaching of team members in a fast-paced, evolving environment

* Ensure compliance with MHRA and BRC standards in all purchasing activities

* Engage with customers and suppliers to resolve issues and align on expectations

What We're Looking For:

* Experience in a Buyer role within food, pharma, FMCG, or chemical production

* Ideally experience within an SME background

* MCIPS Level 4 qualified (or working towards it) - we're open to experienced buyers ready to take this next step

* Strong supplier evaluation and relationship management skills

* Ideally around 5 years' + experience in buying
