Assistant Quantity Surveyor
Location: Bath - Flexible / Hybrid (2-3 days from home)
Salary: £42,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus

Pro Staff Construction are working with a well-established main contractor delivering high-end new build developments. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within a supportive environment, with clear progression to Quantity Surveyor.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist with the commercial management of projects from pre-construction through to final account

* Support with cost planning, procurement, and subcontractor management

* Assist in preparing valuations, variations, and cost reports

* Work closely with site teams to monitor project progress and budgets

* Help ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget

Requirements:

* Previous experience in an Assistant Quantity Surveyor role

* Experience working on new build projects (residential or Construction, not refurn or fit out)

* Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail

* Good communication and organisational skills

* Degree or relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying
