Housing Support Worker

Venn Group have been approached by a Housing Association and would like to introduce the following position available:

Position:          Housing Support Worker

Location:         Clitheroe

Rate:               £17 - 18 per hour via Umbrella

Length:            Initially until the end of September

Hours:              36 hours per week

Rota’d shift pattern – Shifts between 08:00 – 20:00 Monday to Friday - 8am - 4pm & 12pm - 8pm

Every other weekend required, 12 hour shifts at the weekend 

Key Responsibilities include:

• Working with Families and Young Adults
• Create flexible and tailored Support Plans according to residents’ individual needs
• Complete risk assessments and carry out regular risk assessment reviews
• Work collaboratively with other agencies to gain best outcomes for residents
• Assist residents to arrange appointments and support them to attend these where necessary
• Refer/Signpost to other services as appropriate
• Complete health and safety checks of the building
• Assist residents with practical, daily living tasks to help develop their independence and achieve their aspirations and goals

Essential Criteria:

• Enhanced DBS 
• Experience working in similar role
