Press Brake Operator
£17 per hour | Monday-Thursday | Overtime Available | Temp-to-Perm

Due to continued growth and client expansion, we are currently recruiting for an experienced Press Brake Operator to join a well-established and growing engineering business in Bacup. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a skilled and supportive team.

The Role
You will be responsible for setting and operating AMADA press brake machines, producing high-quality components in line with engineering drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

Set and operate press brake machines, ideally Amada but not essential
Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately
Produce components to tight tolerances
Adjust CNC controls and machine settings as required
Support general fabrication activities when needed
What We're Looking For

Time-served Press Brake Operator
Proven experience with press brakes
Strong ability to read and work from technical drawings
Background in sheet metal fabrication
Desirable Skills

Experience with guillotines and general fabrication equipment
MIG welding experience
FLT experience (training can be provided)
Working Hours & Pay

£17 per hour
Monday to Thursday: 6:00am - 5:00pm
1-hour unpaid break per day
40-hour working week
Christmas shutdown
Overtime

Overtime available on Fridays
Paid at time and a half
