Are you a passionate and nurturing Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in a Doncaster primary school? We are recruiting on behalf of a friendly and inclusive primary school in the DN12 area that is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), including pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

🎯 Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with the EYFS team to support learning through play and structured activities

*

Provide 1:1 and small-group support to children with SEND, including those with communication and developmental needs

*

Assist with personal care, behaviour management, and sensory support where needed

*

Help maintain a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment

*

Collaborate with class teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to meet individual pupil needs

*

Contribute to planning, observations, and progress tracking in EYFS

✅ Candidate Requirements:

*

Experience working in EYFS settings within a school or nursery

*

A genuine passion for supporting children with SEND

*

Knowledge of the EYFS Framework and child development milestones

*

Calm, patient, and adaptable approach to classroom support

*

Relevant TA qualification (Level 2/3 or equivalent) is desirable

*

Enhanced DBS check (on the Update Service or willing to apply)
