Willowmere Care Centre is a specialist care home in Barnet, North London supporting adults with complex nursing needs, dementia and mental health conditions. The home offers 119 purpose designed bedrooms and delivers clinically led care within a structured, supportive environment focused on dignity, stability and wellbeing.

Role Overview
As Activities Lead, you will be responsible for creating and delivering a varied and meaningful activities programme that supports the physical, emotional and social wellbeing of residents with complex health needs, dementia and mental health conditions.
You will plan and deliver both group and one to one activities that are tailored to individual abilities, preferences and behaviours, ensuring every resident has the opportunity to engage in a way that is meaningful to them.
Working closely with the care and nursing teams, you will help support residents' emotional wellbeing, reduce social isolation and promote positive engagement throughout the home. You will take a flexible and creative approach, adapting activities to meet changing needs and ensuring the environment remains stimulating, inclusive and supportive.
Your role will play an important part in improving quality of life, building relationships and creating a positive daily experience for residents.
What We Are Looking For
- Previous experience planning or delivering activities within a care or support setting is desirable
- Creative, enthusiastic and proactive approach
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate and person centred approach
