Our client is a market leader in their sector. They are now looking for a motivated Electrical Maintenance Technician to work a 2 shift role.

The Role

* Provide engineering/ maintenance support to the division by performing plant preventative maintenance and engineering support including out of hours.

* Also has responsibility for electrical/ mechanical maintenance, repair and fault finding of plant and equipment.

* Responsible for enacting the maintenance, implementation and improvement of plant preventative maintenance.

* Electrical/ mechanical fault finding, isolation and repair of equipment.

* Providing input into the electrical maintenance and operation of plant equipment.

* Working on plant improvement initiatives.

* Working with suitable external engineering services as and when required to ensure safe and effective operation of plant equipment.

* Preserve employee safety, welfare and involvement.

The Person

* Formal Electronic/Electrical Engineering qualification with practical experience working as a plant electrician.

* 18th Edition Regulations.

* Excellent internal and external communications skills.

* Demonstrable experience of working as a plant electrician.

* Working knowledge of PLC programming and able to read electrical/ technical drawings.

* Practical knowledge of electrical safety requirements.

* Computer literate.
