We specialize in supporting learners aged 4 to 25, offering 1:1 and small group tuition that is tailored, compassionate, and impactful. Partnering with local authorities, schools, and families, we ensure no learner is left behind.

The Role - SEN Tutor / Teaching Assistant

We're looking for dedicated, patient, and proactive individuals to join our team.

Working with 1st staff you will:
- Support learners aged 4-25 with a range of needs (e.g., autism, ADHD, SEMH, learning difficulties)
- Deliver engaging, tailored sessions in core subjects, life skills, or social development
- Use creative, flexible teaching methods to meet diverse needs
- Track progress and communicate regularly with families and the 1st Staff team
- Foster emotional well-being, confidence, and resilience in learners

What We're Looking For

- Experience with children/young people with SEN (desirable - training available)
- Excellent communication and behavior management skills
- A genuine passion for supporting learning and development
- Reliability, adaptability, and a learner-first mindset
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
- Driving license and transport (advantageous, not essential)
