College Cleaner

£12.80 per hour
12 hours per week (days and time to be: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 3-5pm, Wednesday and Friday 3pm-6pm)

Reed FE are delighted to be working with a specialist college in Wrexham, North Wales to recruit an experienced professional cleaner to join the organisation’s facilities staff. The college is an independent, specialist college for young people aged 16 to 25 years with additional learning needs and learners who experience barriers to their learning as a result of social, emotional, cognitive and communication differences.
Main duties:
- To deliver and maintain a clean and tidy environment throughout the school, in line with operational standards and ensure that work processes comply with statutory regulations
- To ensure that standards are delivered in all areas of the College in a timely and efficient manner
- To identify and report damage, faults and other related issues are reported to ensure that we continue to meet quality standards and statutory regulations
Requirements:
- The successful candidate will ideally have experience of daily cleaning schedules and ensure appropriate paperwork is completed, a good knowledge of health and safety legislation and COSHH.
- DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one (Reed can help with this)
- Availability for the hours outlined above.
