Job Role: CNC Machinist

Location: Leeds

Shift: Potentially Days, Afters & Nights

Salary: £14.20 - £17.00ph dependant on ability

Metalis are working with a prestigious Engineering company based in Leeds. They are well known for their design, manufacturing, and overhaul components within the automotive and rail sector.

They are a longstanding company, and due to an expanding order book, they are in search for candidates to join their welcoming and growing team for a fantastic new opportunity.

Job Duties

CNC Milling
Operating Milling machinery and working to tight tolerances.
Working with materials including mild steel, stainless steel etc
Reading from engineering drawings
Machining to high standards of quality and precision
Ideally apprentice trained/time served.
Trained by the company to programme CNC machines.
Programming (not essential btu desired)

Job Requirements

To be a qualified or time-served/experienced CNC Miller/Machinist, setter operator
Heidenhain Controls
Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Salary & Shift

Days, Afters and Nights // Monday-Thursday - flexible on your availability
4 day working week - 40 hours per week basic
£14.20 per hour - No programming experience
£15.70 - £17ph per hour - Programming experience along with editing, altering, setting, operating etc.
Shift allowance on afters and nights shifts.Overtime Rate = £4ph premium (on top of salary)
