My client is seeking a skilled Commissioning Engineer to support the commissioning, upgrade, and retrofit of generator control systems and associated equipment. This role will involve working on a variety of power generation projects, ensuring systems are installed, configured, tested, and fully operational to meet client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

* Commission generator control systems and associated equipment.

* Carry out control panel upgrades and retrofit projects on existing generator installations.

* Configure and test generator controllers, ideally Cummins or Deep Sea Electronics (DSE) systems.

* Diagnose and resolve control, electrical, and engine-related faults during commissioning activities.

* Support installation teams and ensure systems are correctly integrated and operating safely.

* Travel to customer sites as required to complete commissioning and support project delivery.

* Complete commissioning documentation and test reports.

Requirements:

* Strong technical knowledge of generator control systems, ideally Cummins or Deep Sea (DSE) controllers.

* Proven experience carrying out panel upgrades and retrofit projects.

* Good understanding of diesel generator engines, ideally Cummins.

* Ability to diagnose and resolve electrical, control, and engine-related issues.

* Willingness to travel when required for site work.

* Proactive “can-do” attitude with the ability to solve complex or challenging technical problems
