Electrical Technician (Motorsport)

This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a focused and determined team within a highly ambitious world championship winning Formula 1 team as they compete on the world stage.
You will be producing high quality Electrical and Electronic components, looms and assemblies within set time scales and required specifications for their cars inside their factory.
Principal Accountabilities:
* Responsible for the manufacture of in-house built Electrical and Electronic components, looms and assemblies as required and to the set specification.
* Jointly responsible, with the other Electrical Technicians, for the logistical control of workshop materials and tools.
* Provide support to the travelling Electrical Technicians whilst the cars are in the factory on car builds and turn­rounds.
* To have a comprehensive understanding and knowledge of mechanical and electrical technical drawings and the appropriate procedures, to be able to work unsupervised where required and take responsibility for a task, once set.
* Ensure that all Vantage and TLS transactions are carried out for all work in a timely fashion, maintaining complete Vantage and TLS assembly integrity.
* To be an integrated member of the Electronics Design Production Group and maintain open and free discussion with other members of the Group.
* Communicate all build issues to the appropriate design function via good communication using the Electronics Production Team Leader.
* Provide flexible attendance and attitude to work, both in line with the requirements of the role, and any specific requirements of our department or line management.
* Ensure that companywide policies and procedures are adhered to wherever and whenever appropriate.
* Monitor and maintain a clean and tidy working environment whether factory or trackside based working within the groups COSHH guidelines and ensuring that all relevant Health and Safety requirements are met.
* To work in a professional manner at all times regardless of the task set and be pro-active in promoting a positive image for the department/team/sponsors.
*This is predominantly a factory role, with some potential event attendance required.*
To be considered for this vacancy, you will ideally need to have come from a strong Formula 1 background or have recent high level motorsport experience within electrical role in a fast paced team.
Salary: Negotiable, based on experience (Incl. benefits such as championship bonus, on-site gym and discounts on associated partners)
Type: Permanent staff (FTC may be considered)
