Residential Conveyancing Solicitor

York, UK

JOB TYPE: Permanent, Full Time

Our client is a long and well established city centre law firm with a strong tradition of providing professional advice across a wide range of legal services to an enviable and substantial clientbase.

They now seek to recruit a solicitor to undertake a non-contentious workload, in particular to take over a caseload of residential conveyancing. Ideally candidates will be newly qualified up to 3 years pqe although more qualified candidates who perhaps have had a career break or seek a change of discipline will be considered.

As well as acting for wealthy private individuals and landowners, the firm acts for some well known buider and developer clients.

The successful candidate will join a well managed team where considerable emphasis is placed on personal development rather than billing targets. Contribution to the team and the ability to develop and maintain client relationships as well as overall commitiment will be highly valued and result in excellent mid to long term progression.

For further information on this and other exciting opportunities, or to discuss your situation in complete confidence, please telephone Catherine at Bygott Biggs.

At Bygott Biggs our aim has always been to provide a more personal service and everyone here believes that recruitment should be about building long-term relationships with clients and candidates alike. Our reputation has been built on the fact that we provide an efficient and professional service but are not afraid to give straight forward, straight talking advice.

The above PQE is expressed as a guideline only. We are happy to hear from anyone who can demonstrate the necessary skills and knowledge in order to fulfil this role.
