Join a friendly and supportive school in Lancaster as a Teaching Assistant, working in Year KS1. Day-to-day of the role:

• Assist in the delivery of daily educational activities within a KS1 classroom.
• Support the teacher in preparing materials and resources for lessons.
• Help manage classroom behaviour and ensure a constructive learning environment.
• Provide individual support to students, aiding their academic and personal development.
• Assist with the supervision of students during non-classroom times, including lunch and recess.
• Participate in and contribute to meetings and professional development sessions as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience working in Key Stage 1 (KS1) is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A commitment to ongoing professional development.
• A proactive and enthusiastic approach to supporting children’s learning.
