Accountabilities
* Install, test, analyse, troubleshoot and modify new network equipment and solutions to achieve maximum performance and availability
* Design and drive processes to facilitate smooth and seamless deployment of new services
* Standardise equipment and configuration to minimise disruption and achieve straightforward integration with existing networks/infrastructure , Document engineering build designs and contribute to the continuous improvement of policies, processes and procedures.
* Apply standard procedures to deploy network equipment and solutions for customer requirements, network enhancement or problems
* Adopt the role of Design Authority (DA) in area of expertise to ensure the end-to-end delivery of standardised network solutions for projects.
* Drive innovation, both small and large, into and through the business; deploy and evidence with outcomes, a continuous improvement (CI) mind-set
Required Expertise
* Working knowledge of the design, and deployment of IP Network technologies Some experience of networking principles in routing and switching
* Some knowledge of technologies involved in IP Networking routing and switching, IP addressing and VLANs
