Learning Disabilities - Flexible Support Worker (Driver)

Rates varying £10.00-£11.50+ Paid PAYE - not under umbrella

Holiday pay is separate, NOT inclusive of your hourly pay. i.e. £11.50 + holiday pay

**Please note that we don't use umbrella companies so your holiday pay will be accrued as you work meaning no hidden fees or having to save money back for holiday/time off! You have a whole year to use it and can use this however and how often you wish**

We're recruiting proactive individuals across RCT to support people with learning disabilities and/or mental health needs with days and wakes available. Your role will be supporting individuals within a service, this is often 1-4 people in addition to taking them out into the community - therefore it is essential you are a driver. Please note that some services can provide vehicles. If your own vehicle is used, your mileage will be compensated.

We also offer work with various clients including learning disabilities, hostels, homelessness, children and young people, mental health, elderly and more. Your role will to be encourage people to live their lives to the fullest through various means whether this is emotional and/or physical support. As we offer various work with different clients, training requirements and tasks will vary.

To work with us, you will need:

Ideally 6 months paid UK care experience in the last year or a year in the last 5 years
Willing to undergo DBS and reference checks
Right to work in the UK (please note, we do not offer sponsorship)
To be approachable, friendly, proactive and engage with the services users
Great communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
