HR & OD Advisor (Temporary)

• Salary: £18.38 - £21.60 per hour

We are seeking an experienced HR & OD Advisor for an immediate start to support a major organisational change programme. This temporary position is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and skilled HR professional to make a significant impact during a pivotal period of transformation.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Deliver timely, accurate, and customer-focused HR advice to managers and employees.
• Support organisational change activities, ensuring all processes are followed and colleagues are fully supported.
• Serve as the initial point of contact for HR queries, escalating issues as appropriate.
• Contribute to HR projects, including policy development and workforce initiatives.
• Support the job evaluation process, including reviewing job descriptions and advising managers.
• Build strong, credible working relationships with stakeholders, including trade unions.
• Utilise workforce data to support decision-making and identify trends or improvement opportunities.
• Promote best practice HR and contribute to a positive, inclusive organisational culture.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Significant experience leading and advising on change management.
• Ability to plan, prioritise, and manage a varied workload effectively.
• Experience supporting HR projects and implementing solutions aligned to organisational needs.
• Understanding of job evaluation processes.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong analytical ability and confidence working with workforce data.
• Up-to-date knowledge of HR best practice and current employment legislation.
• CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent).
