HR & OD Advisor (Temporary)

We are seeking an experienced HR & OD Advisor for an immediate start to support a major organisational change programme. This temporary position is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and skilled HR professional to make a significant impact during a pivotal period of transformation.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Deliver timely, accurate, and customer-focused HR advice to managers and employees.
- Support organisational change activities, ensuring all processes are followed and colleagues are fully supported.
- Serve as the initial point of contact for HR queries, escalating issues as appropriate.
- Contribute to HR projects, including policy development and workforce initiatives.
- Support the job evaluation process, including reviewing job descriptions and advising managers.
- Build strong, credible working relationships with stakeholders, including trade unions.
- Utilise workforce data to support decision-making and identify trends or improvement opportunities.
- Promote best practice HR and contribute to a positive, inclusive organisational culture.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Significant experience leading and advising on change management.
- Ability to plan, prioritise, and manage a varied workload effectively.
- Experience supporting HR projects and implementing solutions aligned to organisational needs.
- Understanding of job evaluation processes.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong analytical ability and confidence working with workforce data.
- Up-to-date knowledge of HR best practice and current employment legislation.
- CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent).
