Our client is seeking to appoint a Lesson Cover Supervisor to support the teaching staff and provide class supervision when a teacher is absent and play an important role in the school cover system.  This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is potentially looking at teaching as a future career and will enable valuable in-class experience to be gained. Alternatively, it would suit someone who is keen to work with young people and become an integral part of our school community.

Cover supervisors work with pupils but will not be required to do preparation, planning or marking. Other duties may include accompanying school trips (when necessary) and exam invigilation and when not covering lessons some general administrative tasks may be undertaken. Induction and training will be provided.

If you have the ability to encourage pupils to learn, have experience in behaviour management and can work flexibly during the course of the year, the school would like to hear from you.

The above post provides an excellent opportunity to work in a well-resourced environment and to become part of a highly motivated and visionary team of teachers and support staff.

The school prides themselves on providing an excellent rounded experience for their pupils and have a commitment to the highest standards for every child, providing excellent teaching and learning to ensure that all pupils reach their potential. The successful candidate will join a dynamic and energetic team who strive to ensure that all pupils enjoy learning and surpass expectations of achievement.

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment and will be subject to a full DBS check.
