This an exciting opportunity to lead a dynamic and forward-thinking team, leading the change and reinvigoration of Cambian Pengwern College. The College has a proud and successful tradition of supporting young people between the ages of 16 - 25 to build valuable life skills, qualification and confidence to support them on their journey towards future independence.

Cambian Pengwern College is a 52-week placement provision, has a proud and successful tradition of supporting students between the ages of 16 - 25 who have Moderate to Severe Learning Disabilities and Complex Needs, including some challenging behaviours, to gain valuable life skills, qualifications and confidence to support their onward journey towards independence.

Taking pride in the commitment to delivering quality learning through individualised programmes for the students which is supported by an extensive range of therapeutic and sensory input with amazing on-site facilities and opportunities within the local communities for students to learn and engage with members of the community.

The College prides itself on offering meaningful packages of care, education and clinical services to those who have in the past struggled to access conventional settings; offering each young person and adult an individually tailored and holistic programme of support, equipping them to face the challenges of later life.

We are looking for an outstanding leader who can demonstrate a proven successful track record, comprehensive understanding of both the Education and Care setting for SEN, and the drive to develop positive and engaging relationships with all the key stakeholders working closely with our teams.

You will be an expert in your field, bringing the best in classroom experience alongside a clear vision and understanding of the link between leadership and true impact.

You will have a real eye for detail - knowing that our absolute commitment to the Safeguarding of our children and young people is our top priority. You will be able to demonstrate a detailed and insightful understanding of the regulatory environment that we operate in and the demands that this places on all aspects of our work.

Bringing our plans for Pengwern College to life will be challenging and intense but, with enthusiasm, creativity and a hands on approach, the reward and satisfaction will be second to none.
