The Best Connection (Newcastle) is currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Tipper Driver to join our well-established client based in the Blaydon area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driver looking for consistent, local work with a reputable civil engineering specialist.

The Role:

• Operating an 8-wheel Class 2 Tipper vehicle.
• Transporting aggregates, soil, and "muck-away" materials.
• Navigating active construction sites and quarries safely.
• Conducting daily vehicle walk-around checks.
• Adhering to all tachograph and driving regulations.

Pay & Hours:

• £15.00 per hour
• Monday to Friday operation.
• Typical start times: 06:30 / 07:00.
• Ongoing, long-term work available for the right candidate.

Requirements:

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
• Up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Previous experience operating a tipper or 8-wheel rigid vehicle (preferred).
• Good knowledge of the North East road network.
• Ability to work independently and follow site safety protocols.
