Inspection Technician

Location: Near Didcot

Salary: Up to £45,000 DoE

Hours: Permanent, Full-Time day shift Monday - Friday

Inspection Technician Responsibilities:
Manage bonded stores operations, including component check-in/check-out and kitting.

Perform detailed incoming inspection using verniers, micrometres, pin gauges, and other metrology tools.

Complete and maintain inspection records and documentation.

Update MRP and procurement systems to ensure stock accuracy.

Conduct regular stock counts and support annual stock take processes.

Pack and ship goods to internal and external sites as required.

Raise and manage any quality or non-conformance issues.

Support the MAIT team in day-to-day assembly, integration, and test tasks.

Ensure compliance with COSHH and Health & Safety procedures.

Inspection Technician Profile:
Strong technical knowledge of machined components.

Confident in reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings, tolerances, and surface finishes.

Hands-on experience using inspection and measurement tools.

Familiar with MRP systems and Microsoft Office.

High attention to detail and a process-driven approach.

Strong communication and organisational skills.

Full UK driving licence (inter-site travel required).
