Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

Leader Education are recruiting a conscientious Learning Support Assistant who would thrive within an all-through school based in Sunderland.
This large mixed gender school has recently celebrated its best Ofsted grade, with inspectors praising its 'aspirational' students and teachers who have a 'clear vison and ambition' for their pupils.
The ideal Learning Support Assistant will successfully help pupils to excel in a positive learning environment offering support and assistance.
The normal working pattern is Monday-Friday 8:30 until 16:30 and is a long-term position.

The successful candidate will:
- Have a fully enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
- Have experience of working in a transferable role.
- Assist pupils in lessons and activities.
- Be flexible and resilient, meeting the diverse needs of students.
- Work effectively with parents, carers, and other members of multidisciplinary teams to provide the best support.
- Be confident in working alongside students, ensuring they are fully supported within their learning and general classroom activities.
- Possess communication skills that can be personalised to suit students of different abilities.
