Willowbrook Care Home is a specialist service in Birmingham, providing high quality care for up to 75 residents living with dementia, mental health conditions and complex needs. The home delivers clinically led, person centred care within a structured and supportive environment, promoting independence, stability and overall wellbeing.

- Pension, paid DBS, uniform provided
- 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)
Role Overview
As a Chef, this role plays an important part in daily life within the home, preparing fresh, nutritious meals that residents look forward to and enjoy. Mealtimes are a key part of each day, and the kitchen plays a central role in creating comfort, routine and a sense of home.
Working closely with the Head Chef, the role supports the planning and delivery of balanced, varied menus that meet individual dietary needs and preferences. Meals are prepared with care and attention, ensuring both quality and presentation are maintained to a high standard.
The role also supports the smooth running of the kitchen, including stock management, delivery checks and maintaining accurate records. High standards of cleanliness, food hygiene and health and safety are consistently upheld, ensuring a safe and well organised environment.
What We Are Looking For
- City and Guilds 706/1 and 706/2 or equivalent qualification, achieved or working towards
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
- Previous experience in a catering role, ideally within a care setting
- A passion for cooking and delivering high quality meals
- Good organisational skills and the ability to work as part of a team
