IT Service Desk Support
£15- £20 per hour p>
An IT Service Desk Analyst is required for our client. You will provide service desk support to staff across all company sites. The successful candidate will have previous Helpdesk (telephone/ email/ face to face support) experience. You will have good written and oral communication skills with a professional telephone manner & strong customer service skills.
The successful candidate will-
Log all support issues on the ticketing system and maintain a log of any software or hardware problems detected.
Support users in the use of computer equipment by providing necessary training and advice (i.e. using a remote support tool).
Assist with the setup and configuration of new equipment including Laptops and Macs according to the pre-defined setup documentation.
Assist with hardware and software installation, maintenance and configuration.
Carry out tasks delegated by Technical Support.
Assist with maintenance and configuration of core systems.
Some lifting and carrying may be required of desktop computer equipment.
You will also be managing the Windows Server Environment including all associated services (i.e. Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, DFS); providing Systems documentation when required or when appropriate. You will have excellent working knowledge of the latest Microsoft based desktop operating systems with emphasis on Windows 10. You will also have good Microsoft systems knowledge (Windows 7/ Windows 10, Windows Server 2012/ 2016, Office 2013, Office 365, etc). p>
