Shifts Pattern: 4 on 4 off (days and nights)

Salary: Circa £38,000 - £43,000 basic + Overtime Available + Extensive Benefits Package

The Company:

My client, an industry leading manufacturing company, is searching for an electrically qualified maintenance engineer at the front end of their career to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.

The Candidate:

The successful candidate should have experience working within an automated manufacturing plant and should be familiar with all electrical elements on the role including PLC fault-finding, testing.

You should have a "can do" attitude, be able to show initiative and enjoy challenging yourself. Furthermore, you should be a team player and be familiar with working on an industrial or fast-paced automation site.

The Role:

Your role will be split between planned and preventative maintenance, electrical testing and calibration, setting up equipment and all follow up work including record keeping and ensuring health and safety requirements.

The bulk of your work will be fault-finding, reading electrical control drawings, testing and repairing a range of equipment, but also fixing mechanical aspects of the conveyor and ensuring the production line runs efficiently. A large part of your work will be on PLC systems, so a good understanding is fundamental.

Essential Requirements:

Experience working as an maintenance engineer on an automated manufacturing plant.
Genuine interest to progress and grow with the company long-term.
Time-served electrical apprenticeship or Level 3 and above qualified.
Strong PLC knowledge.
17th / 18th Edition
"Can do" attitude.
Experience with computerised maintenance management systems.
