RG Consultancy is proud to be partnering with a well-established organisation in the public sector to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant on a full time, permanent basis. This would suit someone with proven bookkeeping/accounts experience within practice or industry.
Duties will include but not limited to:
- Assist with purchase ledger duties such as payment runs, processing high volume invoices
- Supplier statements
- Bank reconciliations
- Review historical transactions to identify missed VAT recovery, potential VAT errors
- Stay up to date with VAT legislation, especially relevant to the education sector:
- Contribute to process improvements
- Experience with partial exemption and capital goods scheme would be preferred
- Other ad hoc duties within finance
