Room Leader / Supervisor

Contract: Permanent | Full-Time 8:30am-4:30pm
Salary: Up to £15 per hour (negotiable based on experience)

Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise room staff on a daily basis
Plan and deliver engaging EYFS activities
Act as Key Person for a group of children
Observe, assess, and track children's progress, reporting concerns to SENCO
Maintain a safe, high-quality learning environment
Support opening/closing procedures
Liaise with SENCO, parents, and external agencies
Implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) where required
Delegate tasks and maintain high standards across the team
Conduct health and safety checks and risk assessments
Attend staff meetings, training, and nursery events
What We're Looking For

Level 3 or above Early Years qualification (UK recognised - essential)
Leadership and communication skills
Strong EYFS and safeguarding knowledge
Supervisory/senior practitioner experience (desirable)
Professional, confident approach
Nursery Practitioner (Level 2/3)

Contract: Permanent | All Year Round
Hours:

Full-time: 8:30 am-4:30 pm
Salary: £12.30 per hour (increase to £12.80 in April 2026) (based on experience & qualification)

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality care and education in line with EYFS
Support children aged 0-5 with learning and development
Create a safe, nurturing environment
Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies
Work collaboratively within a supportive team
Support daily routines including mealtimes and personal care
What We're Looking For

Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (UK recognised - essential)
OR

Minimum 600 hours of documented UK nursery experience
Previous nursery experience preferred
Caring, reliable, professional approach
Good understanding of EYFS and safeguarding
Commitment to year-round hours
