About the Trust

Salford Royal is based at Stott Lane, and it is easily accessible via both car and public transport. There is onsite parking (fees will apply). It has four on site cafes and two restaurants where staff are eligible for a discount. The hospital also has on site shops.

What you'll be responsible for:

* Adding patients to waiting lists when follow-up capacity is not available

* Responding to telephone and other enquiries from patients and service users

* Provision of outpatient reception services

* Obtaining and recording demographic data received from patients

The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above

You'll learn the following whilst working at the trust:

* An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS

* Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times

* A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation

You'll have the following skills/experience:

* Excellent communication skills.

* Excellent organisational skills.

* Knowledge of Microsoft Packages e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

* Previous experience in patient facing role.

* Previous experience using Patient Centre. (Desirable)
