Are you ready to take on your next challenge in a key role managing bespoke, high-profile projects?

We are seeking a talented Sales Estimator with strong estimating experience and a flair for detail to join a small, vibrant team within a well-established SME based in Gloucestershire. The successful candidate will ideally come from the Steel Industry or Construction Industry due to the detail and technical element to the role

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a solid understanding of technical CAD drawings or a strong background in construction and buildings. You'll play a pivotal role in delivering accurate and competitive tenders for some of our clients' most significant bespoke projects.

Initially, the role will be office-based five days a week, transitioning to three days in the office and two days remotely after the probationary period. Candidates must reside within a 45-minute to one-hour commute of Gloucestershire and possess a full UK driving license, as client visits and site meetings will be a regular part of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

* Interpret and clarify customer requirements, providing detailed, well-costed quotations and tenders.

* Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.

* Value engineer tenders to support clients in achieving cost plans.

* Attend site surveys, client meetings, and project reviews to understand specific requirements and drive successful outcomes.

* Monitor and manage costs, variations, and project budgets to ensure alignment with client expectations and project goals.

What we are Looking For:

* Experience: Proven track record in a similar estimating role.

* Knowledge: A good understanding of the sales and estimating process, project management principles, and construction

* Technical Skills: Competence in MS Office, CAD drawing interpretation, and IT tools.

* Attributes: Integrity, resilience, teamwork, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and self-development.

* Logistics: A full UK driving license and flexibility to travel for site visits and meetings.
