Learning Support Mentor - Immediate Start | Derby (Primary Setting)
Contract: Full-time | Until End of Academic Year

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Education Personnel is currently seeking a dedicated and nurturing Learning Support Mentor to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in the Derby area. This full-time role is to start as soon as possible and will continue through to the end of the academic year.

You'll work closely with pupils, teachers, and support staff to ensure all children can access learning in a positive and supportive environment.

The role will involve:

* Providing one-to-one or small group support to pupils with additional needs

* Assisting the class teacher in delivering targeted learning activities

* Helping to manage behaviour positively and effectively

* Promoting engagement, confidence, and independence in learning

The ideal candidate will:

* Have experience working with primary-aged children, ideally in a support or mentoring role

* Be patient, empathetic, and adaptable in their approach

* Be confident supporting pupils with a range of needs, including SEMH

* Hold (or be willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS on the update service
