Humanities Teacher

First for Education is looking to appoint a dedicated and versatile Humanities Teacher to join a dynamic secondary school in Wolverhampton on a full-time interim basis starting in September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to teach across a variety of humanities subjects in a supportive and well-resourced environment.

To be considered for this position, you must hold a QTS/QTLS or PGCE.

The Role:

Deliver engaging lessons across History, Geography, and RE at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4

*

Take on full teaching responsibilities including planning, marking, and assessment

*

Foster a positive learning atmosphere and encourage student progress

*

Work collaboratively with a committed Humanities department

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent

*

Have experience teaching a range of Humanities subjects within a UK secondary setting

*

Be confident in delivering differentiated lessons to mixed-ability groups

*

Be proactive, enthusiastic, and committed to high standards of teaching and learning

*

Be available to start full-time in September 2025
