CDS Recruitment are working with our client who are looking for an experienced Site Manager/Assistant Site manager to look after a team of 15 internal staff including Plasterers, Joiners and Bricklayers as well as their group of contractors. Duties will include overseeing works on site all over the North East whilst delivering Decent Homes Standards. Our client will only consider applicants with experience of delivering Decent Homes type projects, kitchen and bathroom renewals including rewires and new heating installs etc, as the role will mainly involve managing contractors on these works.
This is a Site Based Role and you must have a valid SMSTS card. Other duties will include carrying out appraisals, and one to ones with the team.
Overseeing and managing contractors as well as the in house team.
The role entails ensuring that penetrations are carried out correctly and within the parameters of the specification (issuing permits of work as required and signing off completed works), ensuring that the compartmentation of the penetrations is currectly undertaken and signed off along with managing the enclosure of the system with Pendock boxing. You will work alongside the client and Customer Liaison Officer to manage the expectations of the customers and ensure that the programme for the works is followed.
