Description

• Manage budgeting, financial reporting and variance analysis, providing clear insights and regular updates to budget holders.
• Provide financial advice and support to stakeholders within the trust.
• Lead and develop a small finance team, ensuring efficient day-to-day financial operations and high-quality support for internal stakeholders.
• Own the month-end process, including preparation of journals and monthly management accounts
• Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and provide analysis on any variances or areas requiring attention.

Profile

A successful Management Accountant should have:

• Either a Full Accountancy Qualification or be Part Qualified (CIMA/ ACCA/ACA/CIPFA)
• Prepared full management accounts
• Mentored or developed staff previously
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to communicate financial information clearly to stakeholders.
• Understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements
