We’re working exclusively with a growing and forward-thinking business in Derby to recruit a commercially focused Finance Business Partner.

The role is hybrid, with 2–3 days per week in their modern Derby office. Twice a month, you’ll travel across the UK to meet with stakeholders — but how you do this is entirely up to you. Whether you prefer day trips or overnight stays, the travel is fully flexible and planned to suit your diary, with all expenses covered.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone currently working as a Management Accountant, FP&A Analyst, or similar, who has had exposure to finance business partnering and is now ready to move into a more strategic, business-facing role. You’ll be joining a business in a strong financial position – cash-rich, steadily expanding, and well known for its collaborative culture, high staff retention, and people-first approach. They’re currently in a significant period of growth, both organically and through acquisition, and this has created natural opportunities for progression within the finance team.

What you'll be doing:

• Acting as a key finance partner to multiple subsidiaries and operational leads across the group

• Leading budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities

• Working closely with non-finance stakeholders to provide meaningful insights and influence business performance

What we’re looking for:

• A qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or finalist with relevant experience

• Experience working in a commercial finance, FP&A, or management accounting role

• Some existing finance business partnering experience is essential – you’ll be confident communicating with stakeholders and turning numbers into actionable insight

• A proactive, approachable person who enjoys working as part of a collaborative, friendly team
