A specialist Lloyd’s of London Syndicate are now seeking an experienced Claims Administrator to join their Leeds City Centre team

  • A specialist Lloyd’s of London Syndicate who are an Employer's and Third-Party Liability Insurer providing bespoke Liability Insurance, for complex and high-risk businesses, are now seeking an experienced Claims Administrator to join their Leeds City Centre team whilst also working very closely with the London City team.
  • It is a hybrid role.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide claims handling and administrative support (Liability Claims, Employers Liability and Public Liability covering a wide range of Industries) (No motor or TPPD)
  • Record and process new and existing claims
  • Liaise with Loss Adjusters, Brokers, Policyholders and Solicitors
  • Process claim payment requests and pass for approval
  • Utilise systems such as IRIS, CRU and Bordereaux
  • Carry out general administration duties as and when required

About you:

  • A good understanding of the technical aspects of Insurance and Reinsurance
  • Liability claims experience - EL/PL
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage and prioritise tasks working to short deadlines
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages, particularly Excel and Word
  • Ideally have experience of using Insurance related systems such as IRIS, CRU and Bordeaux

Salary & Benefits:

  • In addition to a generous annual basic salary excellent benefits package is also offered
  • full-time role working Monday to Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm with an hour for lunch
