Job Title: Technical Maintenance Controller
Location: Northampton
Salary: £43,000 to £55,000
Schedule: Monday to Friday, Day Shifts

Role Overview:

Responsible for managing vehicle maintenance to ensure high availability and cost efficiency, overseeing third-party repair agents, supporting internal teams, and maintaining compliance and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage vehicle maintenance and repair processes
Negotiate with suppliers and monitor maintenance budgets
Ensure accurate financial reporting and cost tracking
Support and train internal teams on systems and procedures
Oversee mobile engineers and ensure compliance with H&S standards
Manage fleet management system data and resolve system issues
Administer onboarding of new vehicles and related documentation
Coordinate warranty repairs and safety recallsRequirements:
Strong technical knowledge of fleet maintenance
Experience with fleet management systems (Fleetwave preferred)
Excellent communication, negotiation, and IT skills
UK Driving Licence (Category C+E advantageous)
Qualification in Automotive Engineering or related field (Apprenticeship, HNC, or CPC preferred)Benefits:
