Role: Director of Health & Safety

The Advocate Group are working exlcusively with a world leading FMCG organisation (£10Billion t/o food business). They have a newly created opportunity for a Strategic Health & Safety leader to

be responsible for the entire H&S perimeter of the Region (plant, commercial). Quality and Safety is at the heart of this organisations Mantra and this role is pivotal in ensuring the stratgeic Health

& Safety agenda aligns with their world class reputation in the market and the importance of employee safety and wellbeing.

AREASOF RESPONSIBILITY

HEALTH & SAFETY

•To ensure working conditions in the plant, in the business unit meet appropriate Health & Safety standards

•With the collaboration of the heads of department, monitors adherence to work safety standards and procedures and monitors remediation to identified deviation

•To draft the necessary Health & Safety documentation for external agencies, firms, Government bodies, etc.

HEATH & SAFETY RISK ASSESMENT

•To ensure danger identification (chemical, physical, biological, psychosocial) and risk assessment

•To ensure identification of measures for safety and health of work environments accordingly with Local enforcement laws

TECHNICAL HEALTH & SAFETY

•Collaborates with technical procurement and workplace management during design, purchasing, installation of machines and equipment

•Works together with the technical staff on completing the necessary paperwork (practices) concerning inspections and controls, licenses, facilities' declaration, in accordance with the law
