Precedo Healthcare is recruiting Support Workers to work with an established team in a warm and welcoming enhanced Supported Living service in Blackburn.
You will be working with an established team in a modern supported living service that supports up to 8 adults with Learning Disabilities, Autism, mental health conditions, and behaviours that challenge. Each individual has their own tenancy and receives person-centred support to promote independence and quality of life.
The service features:
5 self-contained apartments (3 single ground floor & 2 shared first-floor)
Private front doors, communal corridors, and shared spaces
A spacious communal conservatory with seating and recreational activities
Large open gardens and outdoor spaces
Ample on-site parking and great public transport links
Close to local shops, parks, and community facilities
The Role – Support Worker (Agency)
As an agency Support Worker with Precedo Healthcare, you will be working regular shifts while maintaining the flexibility to choose hours that suit your lifestyle. You’ll be joining a well-established on-site team, ensuring continuity of care and a supportive work environment.
Your duties will include:
Supporting individuals with daily routines, personal care, and emotional wellbeing
Promoting independence and helping achieve personal goals
Assisting with medication, appointments, and community access
Encouraging social engagement and inclusion
Working collaboratively with permanent staff, and professionals
Essential Information:
You must have at least 6 months experience working a similar setting in the Uk and be hold a DBS that is on the update service or be willing to apply
