The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and creative classroom teacher to make a meaningful impact in Key Stage 1. You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons that engage and inspire young learners, helping each child reach their full potential in a safe and nurturing setting.

Key Responsibilities

Teach a Year 1 or Year 2 class, delivering engaging and inclusive lessons

Foster a positive, respectful, and safe classroom culture

*

Use assessment effectively to inform teaching and support pupil progress

*

Contribute to planning and collaboration within the KS1 team

*

Establish strong relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues

*

Participate in the wider life of the school, including events and enrichment opportunities

*

Maintain high expectations for all learners

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

A solid understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and early learning approaches

*

A reflective and resilient approach to teaching

Strong classroom management and organisational skills

Excellent communication and a collaborative mindset

A commitment to continuous professional development and inclusive practice

*
