We are working with a well-established UK & Ireland main contractor delivering high-quality fit out and refurbishment projects across London and the South East. Due to continued growth and a strong project pipeline, we are recruiting for an experienced M&E Manager to support the delivery of technically complex refurbishment and fit out schemes.

This M&E Manager role would suit someone who is comfortable operating in a hands-on environment and taking ownership of mechanical and electrical coordination on live projects. This position is not suited to candidates from a Tier 1 background, as the business operates in a more agile and collaborative manner.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing all mechanical and electrical elements across refurbishment and fit out projects

*

Coordinating M&E subcontractors and specialist suppliers

*

Reviewing M&E drawings, specifications, and technical submissions

*

Ensuring M&E works are delivered in line with programme and quality requirements

*

Working closely with site, commercial, and design teams to resolve technical issues

*

Attending site meetings and contributing to project planning and sequencing

*

Ensuring compliance with relevant building regulations and health & safety standards

Experience & Requirements:

*

Proven experience in an M&E Manager or similar role within a main contractor environment

*

Strong background in fit out and refurbishment projects

*

Experience managing M&E subcontractors on live construction sites

*

Good technical understanding of both mechanical and electrical packages

*

Strong coordination and communication skills

*

Experience working for a non-Tier 1 contractor preferred
