Monday-Thursday: 07:00-15:30
Friday: 07:00-12:00Immediate Start Available

We are currently recruiting for a skilled Mechanical Assembly Operative to join a globally recognised engineering manufacturer based in Melksham. This is an excellent long-term contract opportunity with stable working hours and early Friday finishes.

You will be working on the assembly and testing of safety-critical mechanical products within a clean, well-organised production environment, following detailed engineering drawings and standard operating procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Mechanical assembly of precision components
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Using hand tools and assembly equipment
Quality checking and testing of assembled products
Working to strict safety and quality standardsWhat We're Looking For:

Proven experience in mechanical assembly or mechanical fitting
Confident reading and understanding engineering drawings
Good manual dexterity and strong attention to detail
Reliable, hardworking, and a strong team playerThis role would suit candidates with experience as: Vehicle Mechanic, Vehicle Technician, Motor Mechanic, Mechanical Engineer, Mechanical Assembler
