Our client, a leading training and assessment provider within the building services sector, is currently seeking an Electrical Assessor/Trainer to join their team in Northolt. This permanent role provides an exciting opportunity to work with a supportive team in delivering high-quality training in electrical qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide training and assessment of candidates in various scopes of electrical qualifications.
  • Support candidates throughout their course, monitor progress, and ensure timely completions.
  • Conduct assessments and examinations in accordance with the requirements of the Awarding Organisation (AO).
  • Liaise with the Centre Manager regarding technical resources, course structure, and development.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Services Manager on candidate paperwork and feedback.
  • Maintain organised and confidential candidate assessment records.
  • Invigilate examinations and handle oral questions.
  • Promote the company and its range of courses.
  • Continue to develop skills and update knowledge in electrical training scopes.
  • Attend regular team meetings and ensure all action points are completed.
Job Requirements:
  • Experience in delivering training and assessments within the electrical field.
  • Level 3 Electro-technical Certificate or industry recognized equivalent.
  • Must have City & Guilds 2382 Wiring Regulations.
  • Beneficial: Inspection & Testing Qualifications, C&G 2377 Portable Appliance Testing.
  • Additional industry qualifications in electrical, renewables or mechanical fields are advantageous.
  • Preferable: teaching award PTLLS/AET, assessor awards D32/A1/TAQA, and internal verifier award D34/V1/IQA.
  • Approachable and supportive towards candidates.
  • Confidence in delivering engaging training sessions.
  • Professional demeanour in interactions with candidates and staff.
