Distinct is supporting a growing listed business in Leicestershire to recruit an Interim Senior Financial Accountant. This is a key role to provide cover and support through a busy year-end period.

The Role:

This hands-on position is ideal for someone confident in technical accounting and year-end processes. You’ll be stepping in at a critical time, with responsibilities including:

• Supporting the year-end process
• Working closely with external auditors to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
• Applying IFRS 16 standards as part of the statutory reporting process
• Supporting compliance and reporting requirements for a listed environment

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong technical accounting background
• Experience with IFRS 16 and listed companies is essential
• Confident in managing audit queries and delivering under tight deadlines
• Able to hit the ground running with minimal handover
